Very nice review!
I loved the Pier 1 in Portland, Oregon. We'd first go to Saturday Market, then Pier 1 and off to lunch before taking the Max train back to our small town.

I buy Christmas mugs from Dollar Tree and put an envelope of hot chocolate in each. Tie them with a pretty ribbon, place them under the tree, and let the students choose their mug.
