Sleep Deprived, Need Coffee!

These days it seems as if there isn't enough hours in a day. The thought of the coffee pot is usually my main motivator for pushing the blankets aside and getting my sleep deprived rear end out of bed to start another day.

I don't do it on purpose. Unfortunately burning the candle at both ends is one of my bad habits (along with forgetfulness and running perpetually late). I wake up every morning with one thought in my mind (besides coffee), "I have GOT to go to bed at at decent time tonight!"

But 12 hours and 10 caffeine buzzes later, I'm haunted by the "one more" monster. One more load of laundry. One more blog to write. One more chapter to read. One more TV show to watch. One more idea to jot down before I forget. One more thing to help me feel that the day was productive enough, THEN I'll go to bed.

Then I glance at the clock and cringe...

*sigh*

I'm gonna feel like crap in the morning...

Oh well, there's always coffee...

And such is the insane cycle of a caffeine junkie.
