The heat has been monstrous! The squash plants are spent for this season. The tomatoes are still going crazy though.

The butterfy bush has nearly tripled in size and continues to attract lots of butterflies and moths from the neighborhood.

The moon flower vine is blooming now. Here is a rare photo of a daytime bloom on it. Moon flower usually only blooms at night.

lucky you!! I LOVE the smell of the moonflowers, a friend of mine gave me seeds from hers, but they never did grow for me :(

What is best to plant in a home garden? Keep in mind it is not huge and we would like to plant things that will take up the least amount of space but yield a nice harvest. So I guess I could ask, what plants give you the most bang for you buck?Thanks
