First we had to give him a bath. He didn't like it at all.
But he purred when we rubbed him with the towel to dry him. And we had a bowl of warm milk waiting for him.
He's doing well at using the litter box, and despite being carried all over the house and played with constantly, he hasn't scratched the kids once. Adreine loves him and spoils him like crazy. I think he's gonna make a good pet for them.

Black cats are great! And if you were able to give him a bath without incurring too much collateral damage, you have really lucked into a good kitty!
Thank you. Adreine has been asking for a cat for awhile. I told her that when the time is right, our cat will come along. Looks like we've definitely found our cat :-)
