Apology Negotiations

During clean-up time, Jacob struck up an argument and angrily threw a toy at Adreine, hitting her in the shoulder.

I sent her into his room to talk to him about it while I hovered silently in the hallway listening.

Adreine (whispering to Jacob): "If you give me 2 quarters, I'll tell Mom you said you're sorry, and then she'll let us watch "The Princess and the Frog" before bed later..."
