Absentminded Mommy

Me: "Adreine, did you put my handtowels in the kitchen drawer?"

Adreine: "No, you did."

I stand there for a moment with a blank expression on my face.
"Oh... I guess I forgot."

Adreine: "Its okay Mommy. You always forget stuff. I'm used to it."

Me: "Gee thanks."
