Making Memories

This short video of Adreine is not really a big deal, but it's one of those moments that I will remember forever.

Brushing her hair is a big ordeal around here because it is so long. We fuss every morning with snags and tangles. Today I coached her through brushing her own hair for a change. I realized that it's the first of many steps she will take in becoming a woman someday. A bittersweet moment for mommy.

  1. I think here is something wrong. I do not see video. I thought it's my browser but I tried another one and it's still the same white rectangle.

  2. You're right. I checked it on my desktop and it was a white box. I repasted the embed code and it should work fine now.

  3. Adreine is so sweet! This is a special moment. See, my gal (3 yrs old) still needs me to comb her hair every day after shower. Sometimes she will ask me to tie her hair before goes nursery.
    We should enjoy this moment while they still need us to comb their hair. ;)

  4. I agree. Before we know it, they will be asking to wear make-up and borrowing our clothes.

    When Adreine was 3 yrs she could still wear those footed fleece pajamas. Gosh, I miss that!
